On The Tonight Show, the internet's most eligible bachelors and bachelorettes revealed that one detail that kept them from finding a mate with their #WhyImSingle tweets. The Twitter trend #WhyImSingle emerged this week, where people revealed the insanely hilarious reasons they're still single. In typical Jimmy Fallon fashion, he decided to read the most hilarious reasons on The Tonight show. 

Twitter user Wawa_iki wrote, "When I held the door the girl I had a crush on. She said " Thank you," then I jumpled up "You're welcome" with "No problem"  and said "Your problem!"#WhyImSingle. 

#DeleteUber Is Trending on Social Media

As part of the widespread #DeleteUber protest that erupted on social media more than 200,000 Uber accounts were deleted, according to a report from The New York Times. The size and scale of the protest is immense, and the mounting pressure was what led to Uber CEO Travis Kalanick stepping down from his position on President Donald Trump’s economic advisory council (Statt, 2017). 

The hashtag #DeleteUber began trending on social media when many people were upset by Uber’s response to Donald Trump’s controversial immigration order. Many customers demanded that Uber delete their accounts, and they went on Facebook and Twitter to encourage their friends to do the same thing.The protest was inspired by Uber’s decision to disable surge pricing around New York’s John F. Kennedy Airport in response to a taxi drivers’ strike spurred by the Trump order.

Uber deserved this. The specific rap against them was unfair, but the company’s behavior has long been opportunistic. Uber CEO Travis Kalanick has only himself to blame for the fact that so many Uber customers were ready to believe the worst about his company.
